This is barely ever maintained and it really desperately needs some love and attention. We are coming into winter now and this gets completely waterlogged and full of mud. It’s used often by the public for walking through and biking through and it’s in terrible shape. Other walk ways around longhurst have been pathed out and landscaped/maintained in some way and this is just horrible to look at, unappealing and a bit of an eyesore. Would love for it to be maintained/landscaped and even be pathed out by Christchurch city council. Have spoken to downer who maintain the grass behind us in the reserve and they said it’s not listed on their job list as it hasn’t been released to them.. would love for this to be amended ASAP!
