The reporter’s words

Hi, I’ve been the owner at 122A for nearly two years. During this time I have virtually never been able to park outside my own home. While I realise there’s no law around this - what is a problem is the several near misses due to being unable to see past cars parked tightly on both sides of the road. The cars are parking for Bumble bee swimming school at 126. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but Care parked so tightly they are sometimes partly over the drive entrance way of 124. Sometimes there is insufficient room to safely get around the cars on my side of the road and avoid the cars parked on the opposite side. Why are the clientele of bumble bees not parking on bumble bees’ property? Two weeks ago I nearly hit a lady with a child on the carrier of her bike. There was no way to see her coming along the road and even then I was only inching forward to try to see. Can you please do something about this before either myself or my neighbours have an accident. Matt Hampton
