Roads - General
Reported Thursday, 4 April 2024 at 5:44 pm, 75 Ford Road, Opawa, Christchurch 8023, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
The part of Ford Road from Louisson Place-Opawa Road is EXTREMELY busy during school pickup and drop off hours, particularly pickup from 2pm-3.30pm. This specific stretch of the road NEEDS to be yellow lined! It is becoming increasingly dangerous with cars parking there which as you can see in the photos, essentially puts it down to one side of the road to use, causing insane buildup, people yelling abuse at others & speeding out of frustration, close crash misses. It’s not safe!!
