Hazard, vehicle
Reported Monday, 8 April 2024 at 5:24 pm, 27 Clifton Terrace, Clifton, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Cars are parking opposite a passing bay around 26. This makes it only one way at this point. This means cars coming down Clifton tce need to stop higher up to let uphill traffic past the narrowed part. At this point the drivers can't clearly see if there are cars further down, meaning you often progress without knowing if a car is coming up. Please note, the parked cars are not breaking the law, there just needs to be yellow lines there. There is plenty of parking 20 metres up.
