The reporter’s words

The "give way to cyclists" crossing sign is missing on the westbound lane for Hinau St on the Uni-cycle cycleway near Clyde Road. In the attached picture the foreground shows the missing sign (slot is next to the black and white marker). In the background you can see the back of the intact eastbound "give way to cyclists" sign. I was affected by this and witnessed other drivers and cyclists hesitating and then accelerating through the crossing. This is a safety issue and needs to be addressed
