Hazard, vehicle
Reported Saturday, 13 April 2024 at 6:20 pm, 140 Oram Avenue, New Brighton, Christchurch 8061, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
We have begun seeing an increase in people parking on the grass in the middle of Oram Ave between Rodney and Shackleton Street as a result of people moving into a multi-unit dwelling with minimum off-street parking. Could the council pls put No Parking signs on the middle grass and issue warnings to those parking there? There is plenty of street parking available. The grass is important to the community feel and it will be destroyed if people routinely park on it. This requires monitoring.
