Trees - General
Reported Thursday, 18 April 2024 at 11:27 pm, 47 Sayers Crescent, Ilam, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This was the third ashphalt repair job in 5 years, but only a STICKING PLASTER JOB! The TREE ROOT CAUSE IS STILL AN ISSUE. The tree NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. The roots, as shown in photos, grow right upto (and under house?), and around storm water drain. Roots in lawn break the surface and root suckers in garden need regular trimming. Also numerous branches from tree fall on footpath after high winds.
