The reporter’s words
Highcrest Reserve, in Highcrest Heights. The hedge on the northern boundary has been allowed to grow consistently higher every time is is trimmed. It’s now around 4 metres in height and completely blocks the view from the Reserve. See photo - it used to be about the height of the fence to the right, and the other hedge to the left. Council always intended the view from the reserve to be retained. Contractors who cut it last week agree it needs to be cut back. Regards, Westmorland Residents Assoc
