Roading/Streets
Reported Wednesday, 11 July 2018 at 9:07 am, Averill Street, Richmond, 8013, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
There is a real need for dividing barriers at the lights on the corner of North Parade and Averill streets to ensure traffic driving north on North Parade do not cross the centre line at the intersection. There is a turning lane for cars travelling south and wishing to turn right into Averill Street but you are often faced with northbound cars crossing the centre lane and encroaching into the turning lane. Some of those ground mounted dividers that are often put in to divide cars and bikes would visually show northbound traffic where the centre line is. Thanks
