The reporter’s words
Hi. There has recently been a major work project creating a new roundabout on Halswell toad. Immediately before this on the city side there is a new bike lane marked with green paint and cycle symbols. However the yellow lines haven’t been painted on so people just park in it. This is dangerous for cyclists as they will either hit the unexpected parked car or have to swerve out into traffic. If this is meant to be for parking, then the cycle lane needs moving out to beside cars like 2nd photo
