The reporter’s words
The street sumps on the corners of Whitfield and Denman Streets, plus the stump on the corner of Van Asch and Denman are full of leaves from the oak trees at St Leonard’s Park. Water backs up outside our house at 19 Whitfield Street flooding half of the road and footpath. If the leaves could be sucked out of the sumps please.
