Roads - General
Reported Tuesday, 25 June 2024 at 10:09 am, 45 Mortlake Street, Islington, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Road was re chip sealed and contractors used way too much chip on the surface and have barely been back to sweep the surface off properly. Its resulting in build ups of loose chip all over the road and most neighbors have been dragging chip up their driveways from it getting stuck in tyres. The intersection at moffat and mortlake st is dangerous as there is piles of chip mounding up and cars are constantly skidding on it on takeoff.
