The reporter’s words
The traffic volumes have increased significantly plus many truck and trailer units ‘bounce’ round this bend so unfortunately it was only a matter of time that damage was going to appear on the road works recently carried out which were so appreciated by the locals. Also the section from half way between Fountains and Springs Rd needs at the marking on the edge of the road as with no lighting it is very difficult to see the edge of the road when you have oncoming vehicles.
