Damaged Road
Reported Saturday, 6 July 2024 at 11:10 am, 413 Barrington Street, Spreydon, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hi, we are getting internal damage inside our house (cracking gib etc) because there are roadworks on Barrington street and traffic is diverted through a large rut in the road. Most traffic does not slow down for the roadworks. Including (especially) the busses, which when they hit the rut at speed, cause our house to shake significantly. I have tried talking to the contractor. I'm hoping the council can step on to help with speed enforcement and or fixing the temporary road.
