The reporter’s words
This sign has been removed either by a car hitting it or by the council, either way this left over stump is a danger to pedestrians as a tripping hazard and should be either cut flat or the pole reinstated. In the meantime putting a traffic cone over this would be a good idea as a short term quick fix solution.
