The reporter’s words
Pedestrian lights crossing Main North Road have an insufficient green light, allowing pedestrians to only cross to halfway before turning red, and therefore triggering the green light for the traffic. The traffic then turns in front of the pedestrians trying to cross, this is a very dangerous spot, especially trying to cross the elderly, kids and people that are vision impaired. We need a longer green pedestrian light here before someone is hit.
