Trees - General
Reported Monday, 19 August 2024 at 5:14 pm, 24 Westpark Drive, Burnside, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
After yesterday’s rain this cabbage tree has been blown over in today’s strong winds. The roots are still sitting in water. Being in the playground the tree is likely to be vandalised and completely pushed over. Other trees have previously suffered a similar fate. The playground is off Westpark Drive opposite O’Dea Place.
