Hazard, vehicle
Reported Monday, 19 August 2024 at 5:57 pm, 38 Saint Martins Road, St Martins, Christchurch 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Cars exiting Burnbrae St heading into Saint Martins Rd lose a lot of visibility from the parked cars, that are too close to the Burnbrae/St Martin’s kerb. This results in cars sticking their nose out beyond the stop sign, and into the cyclelane in order to see the road (see image). This can also push larger northbound vehicles close to, or even over, the median line. Please remove some parking on left hand side of St Martins Road to improve visibility at this very busy intersection. Thanks!
