The reporter’s words
There have been near accidents on Dyers Road next to the Brookhaven Estate. The drains are not coping with the amount of rain after a storm .The road floods and people travelling towards Port Hills move into the other lane to avoid the water. Or they go through at speed and cars travelling in the other lane are splashed and can't see through windscreens. Please resolve this issue before someone gets hurt. Putting up a flooding sign does nothing.
