Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Friday, 23 August 2024 at 3:55 pm, 4 Grebe Place, Wigram, Christchurch 8042, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Tree removal required. The tree is causing health issues. Boundary is not where fence is and is significantly encroaching on my bdy. This wouldn’t comply with recession plans if it was a building. It blocks the sunlight especially when leaves are developed and the tree is getting very tall. Under the law I could cut the tree roots back to my boundary but this could mean the tree would topple over. Request Council to remove it and happy for them to replant a tree that only grows to 5m tall.
