The reporter’s words
Hi guys It’s exciting to see more development works at the New Brighton Pier playground (works by DCL). However any chance that security fencing could be reconfigured slightly to permit ground level access between the “Salt on the Pier” cafe and the beach to the north? A small corridor at the base of the pier steps would greatly assist foot traffic at ground level especially for those with limited mobility. Currently this is blocked by the fencing. I appreciate you looking into this on behalf of the local community. Regards Andy Yule m: 021 841 518 e: andytheyule@gmail.com
