Wastewater/Stormwater
Reported Sunday, 30 September 2018 at 4:32 pm, 195, Ashgrove Terrace, Somerfield, 8024, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
Cashmere Drain is boundary of my home & Hohepa (off Barrington St.). -Black tarpaulin has been left on site since work done to dredge drain over 6 months ago- CCC have been notified of this -Bank of stream damaged during dredging. - bank left in unsightly condition after work done - bank has not been reinforced or fixed up since damage done during dredging work - now appears to be a substance leaking into drain- looks like raw sewage & on a hot day smells like raw sewage. I’m worried about this leak as I have a 10 day old baby and the drain is only 4 meters from my bedroom window. This needs to be rectified immediately.
