Noise - Construction
Reported Saturday, 14 September 2024 at 8:44 am, 7 Spalling Road, Halswell, Christchurch 8025, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Concrete truck on site to pour slab at 05:20, pour started at 06:00. Loud music from site radios from early morning waking my children and make it impossible to work in my home office at the rear of my property. No consideration given to residents by contractors working in a fully developed residential area. The construction looks to contravene consent rules as the footprint of the building almost covers the entire section, there is very little space left.
