Road Signage
Reported Monday, 23 September 2024 at 4:27 pm, 209 Annex Road, Middleton, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hindess St is a long straight street but the southern end is a cul-de-sac so has no exit. There was a 'NO EXIT' sign on a power pole or street light close to the junction with Balcairn St but that has disappeared. We regularly see pedestrians, cyclists and motor vehicles come in to the cul-de-sac, look surprised and then head out again. That used to happen far less often when there was a 'no exit'. Please install a new 'no exit' sign, or perhaps two, one on each side of the road.
