Animal - Domestic
Reported Monday, 7 October 2024 at 9:48 am, 3535303, Riccarton, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
I was walking my dog in Harrington park and up ahead of me was another man walking his Labrador along the path along the fence with murals on it, when a large brown/red dog jumped the fence from one of the houses and went after his dog. I don’t think the lab sustained any damage but it was scary for us all and I would hate to think what would have happened if it was a child the dog attacked. The dog came from one of the houses around the murals. There are dogs roaming Riccarton on a daily basis
