Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Thursday, 10 October 2024 at 3:41 pm, Centaurus Rd near Bowenvale Ave, Canterbury 8022, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
There was an area of established native plantings by the bus stop on Centaurus Road by the corner of Bowenvale Ave. It was overgrown with weeds and then was sprayed with weedkiller unsure if this was by the Council or contractors like Citycare and many of the native plants like miniture Toetoe, grasses and Hebe have been killed. I would like to talk to someone about how this can be better managed so that well established natives are not killed with weed control otherwise it defeats the purpose.
