The reporter’s words
Homeowners constantly throw their green waste over their fence onto the edge of the stream. Then they built a compost bin also on the edge of the stream where they throw their green household waste. Recently they pulled out their fence and replaced it. In doing so they covered all the new plantings along the stream with soil, every time it rains the soil washes in to the stream, and they’ve left tree trunks and green waste on side of stream.
