Poles and Signage - General
Reported Wednesday, 23 October 2024 at 2:59 pm, 58 Hawford Road, Opawa, Christchurch 8023, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hawford Road has a retirement village worth a lot of on/outgoing traffic, a lot which is elderly people. Street signs are few but the speed limit is 30km. Many do 40km or 50km, x esp Aaron's school times. It is frightening. There's a 25km sign just b4 speed bumps, but this does nothing to redone speed from the opposite direction. The street either needs speed camera, 30km painted on the road and/or 30km sign, or two clearly displayed in the stretch between Ford Road and the speed bumps.
