Roading/Streets
Reported Thursday, 1 November 2018 at 8:38 am, Holmwood Road, Fendalton, 8014, Canterbury.
The reporter’s words
The intersection at Fendalton Road and Holmwood road is becoming increasingly dangerous as traffic flows pick up with more people coming to the city for work. In the mornings for a period of an hour the traffic backs up from Harper avenue back across holmwood road. With many cars making right hand turns from Fendalton Road and from holmwood road I have witnessed a number of near misses as there is no break in the traffic and with the right hand lane on Fendalton blocked up you can’t see what is coming up the left hand lane. This problem is only getting worse and is worthy of some better traffic controls before an incident occurs.
