The reporter’s words

We were woken this morning at 2am by a large idling truck dropping road cones outside our property. This was followed by the very noisy street marking machine for an hour. Then again noisy truck to loudly collect road cones. This is not acceptable in a residential area in the middle of the night. We had no sleep from 2am to 4am. If this machine is be used at all at night the noise output must be reduced.
