The reporter’s words
We have a very large tree which is threatening our scout hall. We have had branches fall onto the hall and cause significant damage resulting in us having to replace the roof. This is very dangerous for our Tamariki. If a branch was to fall on the hall whilst we have youth onsite this could kill them. I am requesting that Christchurch City Council do their due diligence and trim the tree to an acceptable level to allow our kids to enjoy their experiences rather than worrying about a tree.
