Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Sunday, 17 November 2024 at 8:24 am, 100 Styx Mill Road, Casebrook, Christchurch 8051, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
2 SRs There are H&S issues with the overgrown vegetation at eye level on the walkway, which needs clearing right back. The Styx mill reserve is a well-used reserve, and I've noticed lately new flax bushes being planted in previous grassed areas that were used to picnic or just sit and relax. I know this is done to reduce mtce, but it has detracted away the beauty of the reserve. There are no open spaces near the entrance now. The tracks are too narrow as well in lots of places!!
