Roads - General
Reported Tuesday, 19 November 2024 at 3:20 pm, 412 Greers Road, Bishopdale, Christchurch 8053, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Cycling around Christchurch has improved a lot in recent years, but this junction Harewood Rd - Greers Rd) is the one I fear the most. I think that the cycle lane should continue across the junction as you as you go south as I often get squeezed out and have to stop and wait on Harewood Road for traffic to pass me. This would just require cutting a cycle lane into the grass berm up until Greers Road southbound merges into a single lane and cycling is safer again.
