The reporter’s words
Good morning Council person. Could Consideration be given to cutting back the overgrowth and overhanging trees onto the pedestrian walkway. Invasive ivy is damaging the asphalt footpath. There is a large infestation of the old man's beard. DOC say old man's beard is a pest plant and is dangerous for our NZ forests. It can smother and kill all plants from the highest trees to the little seedlings on the ground. There is the Merivale reserve across the road . The seeds of OMB travel and spread ??
