The reporter’s words

Hi, there’s an issue on the pavement outside a new building development. It’s hazardous to the public to use this public right of way. On the other side of the road the pavement has been dug up and a resurfacing job is underway and although it is usable it is still hazardous (rough surfaces, trip hazards etc) to less able members of the community meaning the only safe place to walk is down the road. I get building work can be messy but a little bit more awareness of others would be good.
