Reported Thursday, 5 December 2024 at 7:44 am, 50 Purau Avenue, Purau 8972, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A step at Purau jetty has a board missing and others are displaced, leaving a gap. This is extremely dangerous when covered by the tide due to poor visibility in the water. Falling through and trapping a leg could be very dangerous. This was reported previously on 12 October in report 5255037 but no action has been taken. Since that report one board has washed away. The original snap has disappeared from my app. This needs urgent attention as it is used regularly by many swimmers and boaties
