Fallen Tree
Reported Monday, 9 December 2024 at 9:58 pm, Corfe Reserve Corfe Street, Ilam, Christchurch, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Due to last night's winds, a large limb has broken off from the main trunk and is hanging mid air. The tree has been dead for some time and has already been tagged by council to remove. The hanging limb is extremely dangerous as could fall at any time. It is only being held up by other trees. If the limb were to fall on a person, consequences could be lethal.
