Hazard, vehicle
Reported Wednesday, 11 December 2024 at 7:51 pm, 2 Courtenay Street, St Albans, Christchurch 8014, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
A construction truck, part of the development on the corner on Courtenay & Trafalgar St was parked in the 3 min parking area for parents at 3pm (school finish time). This is not acceptable and likely does not abide by any of their agreed traffic management as part of the construction. It also caused safety issues at the school crossing where the children were crossing the road as it blocked the view. On approaching the tradie, we were told there was nowhere to park. This needs sorted.
