The reporter’s words
A Direct Logistics truck did what appeared to be 2 needless 3 point turns in Cracroft Terrace this afternoon 12/12/24 at approx 2:20 pm and damaged the chip seal as in the photos. Because it was a hot day the chip seal tar had melted as usual and was no match for a heavy laden truck with multiple turning wheels. Now there's sticky chip sticking to all the car tyres that pass and chip flicking onto the footpath and down driveways. This road surface is not fit for purpose in my opinion.
