Rubbish and Bins - General
Reported Wednesday, 18 December 2024 at 8:32 pm, 58 Esplanade, Sumner, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Bin by the public toilet approaching the esplanade, opposite Marriner Street. While out walking today I was shocked to see 1. Our new black ‘BIG’ bin had been replaced with a smaller one. 2. The rubbish was overflowing and stinking. This is disgraceful after so much work has been done to beautify the area, the lack of emptying the bins certainly let the area down. Come on council, the locals shouldn’t have to put up with this. Why can’t the bins get emptied more regularly?
