Trees - General
Reported Sunday, 5 January 2025 at 3:37 pm, 15 Alport Place, Woolston, Christchurch 8023, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
These willow trees died after a council riparian planting project last year. One has fallen already and is lying across the creek, the others will inevitably fall at some point and at least one may hit my house when it does. Can they be topped to reduce the risk? They are a lot closer to the house than they appear in the photos. The aki aki tree in the foreground is on my property but the dead willows are on the opposite creek bank and part of the council plantings.
