Road Signage
Reported Monday, 6 January 2025 at 2:03 pm, 40 Nayland Street, Sumner, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Hi folks. These are some of 12 pics of my local Sumner roads, each with possible pedestrian crossings. Before I googled it, I had never heard of the term ‘courtesy crossing’. Ive been extremely confused at people leaping into the street in front of me, and wandering on the ENORMOUS courtesy crossing in front of Sumner’s ‘Not Typical’ cafe. Hence, I googled it today, and imagine my surprise to learn a whole new term has been invented, but NOT ADVERTISED. Please add pedestrian signage!
