Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Monday, 13 January 2025 at 10:54 am, 74 Waimakariri Road, Harewood, Christchurch 8051, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Concerned about the fire risk with all the debris dropped from these eucalyptus trees. Can this please be taken away, and maintained on an ongoing basis? These trees are massive, and getting more hazardous as they get older. It’s also preventing mowing the grass verge. On a hot dry day this debris could easily go up in flames and cause major damage or destruction to the surrounding houses. Also they are within falling distance of power lines should there be strong winds to snap branches.
