Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Tuesday, 14 January 2025 at 8:35 pm, 340 Avonhead Road, Burnside, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
This is the curved driveway that leads to the cricket and football grounds. The culvert here is single lane and these cabbage trees are obscuring the view of drivers. In my opinion this vegetation should be growing so close to the waterway. In addition to this there is some subsidence in the asphalt covering the culvert and you can see the marks of cars bottoming out. This is not a pothole, is evidence of some erosion and it is getting worse. It is going to be damaging cars.
