The reporter’s words

Main entrance to Halswell Quarry states that gates are shut at 7pm. Alternative entrance on Cashmere Road states that gates are shut at 9pm. Main gates never seem to be shut at 7pm… which is great! Would be good to have accurate times on sign though as many people are deterred from entering the main entrance if leaving after 7pm and park on the street, even though gates in fact remain open until far later than this (I’m not sure when they actually shut).
