The reporter’s words

There are a number of deep holes where cabbage trees have died and rotted in the approach to Beckenham Park. Some of these are about 30 cm deep last week I saw an elderly woman fall into one of the holes. Ideally they should be re-planted with cabbage trees but at a minimum, filled in level with the surrounding soil. When the grass in them as long they’re almost completely invisible until you fall into them. Another accident waiting to happen!?
