Noticed the algae/weed that is in the lower Avon (only, spread by the rowing clubs. It's sign posted up there - can't remember the specific name) much further up the river than usual after the winds last week. Seems to taken hold here (I'm in this spot frequently, hasn't grown here in the past). Be a good idea to get someone here to confirm and see if spread can be slowed.
