Cloudburst 4.45pm Tuesday 18th Feb. Fastest 10mins. The drains in Beckenham couldn't handle the volume of water. Cars were flooded along Birdwood. Gardens, verges and footpaths were inundated. Potholes in the road blew out due to vehicle movements. A better design of the storm water attenuation needs looking at. Now the gutters are filled with mulch from council 'flower beds' and rubbish.
