Fire hazard this year. For some reason, this year the owners have not cut hay and have left the grass to grow long and dry out. It is a major fire hazard as this paddock is immediately adjacent to many homes. My parents have lived here for over 50 years, and the paddock grass had always been cut, with live stock in the paddock. Please ask the owners to cut the grass and reduce this massive fire risk. Thank you. This is the paddock that is adjacent to the homes along Sparks Road (and adjacent to the Orion station) and Rollesby Street. The Rolllesby St homes are probably not aware of the danger.
