Overgrown Vegetation
Reported Thursday, 27 February 2025 at 10:02 am, Scarborough Park 147 Esplanade, Sumner, Christchurch 8081, New Zealand.
The reporter’s words
Council’s budget for upgrading this park was large! Why design gardens in these areas if they are left unwatered and overgrown with weeds? The plants left to die. Why not just plant green grass for the children to walk on? This is one of Christchurch’s most popular children’s playgrounds and quite frankly embarrassing to show any visiting guests. Get down and have a look at all the garden beds around that park. Truly sad.
